01 Chasing Dreams in Africa: The International Journey of Juchen Equipment
Egypt, a strategic hub connecting Africa, the Middle East and Europe, is experiencing a golden age of development in the aluminium industry. With the resumption of the 250,000-ton pre-baked anode project, Egypt’s aluminium industry localization rate will rise from 61% to 78%, and the value per unit product will increase by $230 per ton. It is expected to achieve the net export target of aluminium products by 2026. At the same time, the $2 billion high-end aluminium processing base project will fill the gap in Egypt’s high-end aluminium manufacturing, producing high-value-added products such as aluminium for beverage cans, aluminium foil for power batteries, and automotive lightweight sheets.
